User Selectable Rekey Request

(Secure KMF Profile, ASTRO OTAR Information)

Enables the radio to transmit the ASTRO OTAR (Over-The-Air-Rekeying) Rekey Request. The request is sent to the dispatcher’s Key Management Facility (KMF) console. This feature applies to ASTRO OTAR operation for the current Secure KMF Profile.

The radio-user initiates a Rekey Request with either a Rekey Request button-press or a Rekey Request menu-selection.

When the Secure Operation field is set to "Hardware", and

when the OTAR Enable field is enabled, and

when the ASTRO OTAR Enable field is enabled, and

when the radio is model / option capable.
